Rendering
Lesson 6 of 8 Starship Design
In this lesson you will light and render simple still shots of your spaceship, then create a 3D turntable to show off your work from every angle.
- Camera and Lighting Homework- Set up a simple shot with a camera angle and lighting that makes your spaceship clearly visible. The objective here is to show off all your hard work, so take your time and make this step look good!
- Quick Render Presentation Homework- Render the callout shots of your spaceship, and do any paintover or compositing work needed to make the final images look as good as possible. By the end of this assignment you should have a set of portfolio-ready images of your starship!
- 3D Turntable Homework- Create a 3D turntable of your spaceship, making sure the camera angle, lighting and background show off your design as well as possible from all directions.
