Lesson 1 Assignments0 of 3 Assignments Completed
  • Simplified Shapes Homework

Create silhouettes of four different architectural styles on a single sheet, like you saw Aaron do in the previous video.

The objective in this first assignment isn’t to create a beautiful ink sketch yet. Focus more on identifying what makes each building unique. For this reason you can do this homework either on paper or digitally - whatever you’re more comfortable with.

  • Simple Small Building Sketch Homework

Create a simple sketch of a single building. Try to keep things as basic as possible for this one, in both your tools and approach. This course will cover many other subjects, so there will be plenty of chances to do more advanced sketches. The goal here is to start with a nice, easy practice image.

  • Intermediate Small Building Sketch Homework

Create another sketch of a small building, but this time allow yourself to experiment with a more detailed approach. Don’t forget to consult your reference whenever you feel lost.
