Preparation
This first lesson will focus on what you need to create great art. Gaëlle will help you find inspiration, build your brief and gather references. Once you've taken these steps to lay out a creative roadmap, you will begin sketching ideas for your 2D composition. Gaëlle will demonstrate beginner and advanced options for this initial sketching phase, both of which can lead you to an incredible final product.

Rendering
You will begin this lesson by setting up your scene in Octane. Then Gaëlle will show you how to use render passes to get maximum flexibility when painting over your 3D environment in Photoshop. You will utilize photobashing and blending techniques to make your CG imagery fit seamlessly with the rest of your painting.
NOTE: Octane is the software Gaëlle uses for rendering in this lesson, but you can follow along in Blender or any other software you prefer.
