Now you will focus on any paintings which require a 3D background. In this lesson, you'll model your entire scene and prepare it for the painting stage. Romain will demonstrate several time-saving and image-enhancing concepts which will help you to create beautiful work in a fraction of the time.
Envision Your Scene
Create a sketch of the scene you're going to create. Make sure it's more complex than the thumbnail you created earlier. Because the scene is more involved, it's useful to begin with more detailed planning.
Block out your 3D scene to get the basic composition right, then begin adding all the details you think you'll need. Finally, render your scene. Don't forget to upload your renders to the Learn Squared homework gallery.
