Colors and Material

Lesson 4 in Substance Designer

Lesson Information

In this final Lesson, Daniel will help you to block in basic colors, and set up your color palette within Substance Designer. You'll then begin coloring each item, creating variation in material properties along the way, and adding dirt and surface variation for even more realism. Finally, you will present your finished scene using Marmoset Toolbag.

Homework
The Final Scene

Set up lighting and camera angles to create an interesting mood, then render your scene.

Extra Credit

Make the scene your own by adding custom modeled elements.

Hey - this is an awesome course - thank you, Daniel!
I have a question about the Dirt node: I'm running Substance Designer 2019.2.0 and the node only has two inputs: Mesh Data & Mask (optional)

Could you give us an update about how to use this (newer?) node?

Thanks in advance!
