Your journey through 3D Asset Production will begin with the basics of 3ds Max. Mihailo will take you through navigation, UI, commands, organization and terminology. You will then learn about three different types of professional workflows, and map out the project you'll be working on throughout the rest of the Course.
Download a 3D model of any kind of object and do a retopo. This will help you get used to shortcuts, as well as understand topology and edge flow.
After this, find concept art or references to use for modeling in the next Lesson. If going without concept art, collect as many references as you can. These will inform you about what you'll be modeling later.
