Lighting setups and moods.
SINGLE LIGHT
I wanted to see how I could take advantage of the single light idea while still getting some great styleframes with colors. The other fun part was creating this plastic toy texture! (These don't necessarily work together but I still wanted to add text to make it stylistic).
MULTIPLE LIGHTS
It was really tricky to find a light color that works well on the green soldier models. I learned that the material seem to dictate the color of light you can use to light the model for best results.
EXTENDED STUDY: LIGHTING CTHULHU
With all the details that Cthulhu has, I felt like a 3 light setup with a chilling color mood would emphasize his highlights and expose his scary shape with each light focusing on one aspect; the silhouette and the exposure of him.
EXPLORATION: ALIEN SKIN
After following along with Zaoeyo on texturing Cthulhu, I wanted to make the alien skin very visible. It wasn't too obvious on Cthulhu so I explored it further with this alien model. TIP: This model is a free one, it was too rigid. Adding a cloth surface made it look more organic.

Dude! That extra credit scene with the pinkish and purple lights is amazing! That toy soldier concept is sick, you should bring that into your final project.
