Mind Mapping and Sketches

After having used MindNode for some time, it's refreshing to know I've been doing something right. following JR's methods for brainstrming was enlightening.

Storyboard and Concept

Trying to keep things simple to nail down the total process and not get to into the weeds on detials.

Thinking abstractly, using an overwhelmingly large main character (the circle), pushing around the smaller circle to represent the proud man's short sightedness. Having his focus on the smaller things, he's not aware of what's happening around him on a lerger scale. Someting bigger than himself.

Most were inspirations for the earlier sketches of the "faceted face" look, but eventually settling with the simplicity of the circles.

Again, keeping things tightened up and simple based on the sketches, leaves me room to really explore animating.
