1. What got you into motion design?
-Started out by creating silly videos for my friends. One day I discovered after effects which opened up a whole new world. Since around last year, I have been feeling increasingly enamored with the fields of design and motion design, and I hope to be able to get my footing into the industry soon.
This video is insane, and I hope to one day, be able to create something a fraction as good as it.
2. Compare the example animations and comment on which is superior and why.
-Left feels much stronger
-proper use of eased animation
-physics feel more realistic
-there's a bit of a stretch effect when the ball goes fast which mimics motion blur well
-doesn't clip into some of the geometry like the one on the right does
Basic idea is that a hand is scrolling through all the notifications on its phone until it becomes a bit overwhelming and the notifications morph into crazy lines consume everything.
