SIX CARD POKER: Six competing saloon owners play a game of cards which slowly escalates to violence.
In most cases this is a basic Western movie. But thats a challenge in itself to try to make it feel authentically western, and be able to tell a new story. The subtext is the violence the owners get involved while playing a card game. The combination of violence and greed in those days made people more quick on the trigger. I think there is potential to increase the use of violent with more items such as knives, broken bottles, etc shown that can lead the viewer down the path of a violent story.
