Hello everyone, this is my take on the one small step (controlled experiment) exercise.

I wanted to keep it very simple and clean because it's a title sequence for a documentary.

It all starts with a black screen. The camera tilts down lowly, revealing the flying pod, and then earth. This long shot represents the long journey it took to get to the moon.

Then there is a hard cut to the astronaut close-up, another hard cut to a wide shot of the astronaut that is fixen the pod. These two shots represent the struggle, and the setbacks of the apollo program.

The camera is tilting down into the darkness, arriving at the moon (shot 5). Continuing the tilt down, the footsteps are showing in the dust and the title reveals.
