Intro to 3D Concept Design

Here is my attempt with the techniques I learned from first part of the course. Hardest part for me is to create a texture that will not look awkward on the buildings. Also lack of experience with keyshot and 3Dcoat caused a bit of trouble.

Really enjoying all this organic sculpting techniques:)

Rough sculpt and retopo of a delivery drone with a few hours work on texturing. I used some kitbashing models for the connection parts of the drone and container everything else is sculpted. Normal and displacement maps are painted and then rendered in Redshift. Attached a clay render to show what is modeled and what is painted in. No Photoshop.

Just trying to understand how the things work on the simple fantasy props...:)

Learn Squared is an invaluable resource to artists of all skill levels.

Was great experimenting with this process. The only 3D I've really done before this is basic modeling in Sketchup, so this was definitely a level up from that. Looking forward to continuing with 3D Coat. Thank you Jama.

I learned a lot on this assignment.
