My main focus is to make a interesting dynamic between the characters. I chose to do a criminal drama, where the detective investigating the case is pitted against a vigilante by her partner.
So the scene I want I make is one where it seem like it's a clash between detective and vigilante, but really there is a third party theatening both.
I tried to find colorful neon references of rainy nights, paired with locations that can give movement to the scene and divide the frame into three parts ( not necessarily equal). And for the characters I tried to find simple archetypes that can evoke their essence.
